Being gay doesn't automatically make somebody a bad parent. That is no good reason to deny a child the right to be with it's father. I have a good friend who also happens to be gay. Who the parent sleeps with isn’t the defining criteria of whether or not they are a good parent. To be honest, a six year old shouldn’t even know what sexual relations ARE, let alone who her parents have them with, so it shouldn’t matter to the child that Daddy has friends that are guys.
