Infidelity is not a victimless crime. It can tear up the heart of the other spouse, and ruin relationships completely. Most people are not aware of all the lying and cheating that is going on, so I will tell you some of the statistics behind most relationships.

1. 22 percent of all of the men in the world have strayed from their spouse atleast once during their married life. This is over one-fifth of all married men! Think of five couple that you know. Now imagine that at least one of the men in these couples has cheated before!

2. In the year 1997, 5 percent of married men, and 3 percent of married women reported that they had sex with someone other than their spouse. Remember, these are only the people willing to admit it. This is also only the men and women that actually had sex behind their partners back.

3. Out of all of the divorces in the United States, 17 percent are caused by infidelity. Divorces completely ruin families, don't let infidelity be the cause of your divorce.

4. About 60 percent of men and 40 percent of women will have an affair at some point in some marriage. Remember, 17 percent of these will cause a divorce. That's a lot of divorces!

5. About 24 percent of men and 14 percent of women have had sex outside their marriages. Don't you wish that all of these people could be caught.
